Max Tenscher, FNP

 

Max Tenscher, FNP grew up in Northern California. He earned his Registered Nursing degree from Shasta College in Redding, California and his Family Nurse Practitioner credential from the University of California at Davis.

 He taught as clinical faculty for three years with the University and worked in Mount Shasta, California in a busy family practice. He was a founding member of the Superior California Area Health Education Center and served on the Siskiyou County Mountain Search and Rescue Unit.

Mr. Tenscher moved to the Portland area in 1991. He worked for one year at the Rural Health Center in Vernonia before moving to a family practice in Tigard where he continues in part-time practice.

He has broad knowledge of alternative and complementary health systems and a passion for an integrative model of care. He is an empathetic practitioner with strong diagnostic skills. The owner of Integrative Primary Care Associates, LLC,  he continues to work with our team to develop a method of primary care in a model of effectiveness and sustainability.   He is an avid cyclist and bike commuter.
